One of the great things about birding is that you don’t have to venture to the far reaches of the globe to find birds. Birds are all around us, filling the air with their songs and brightening our lives with their spectacular colors. It’s simple to attract birds to your home; just put out a water source and some food, and you will get birds.

Every birder keeps a list of backyard birds. Birds that show up at your feeders, build nests in your trees, and visit you year after year. This page is dedicated to the birds of my yard. I’ll update the list throughout the year along with photos.
